Finding Old Versions of Myself
Cleaning up my space and making it my own has resulted in finding one of my old notebooks.
I can clearly remember cutting these images, pasting them down, and writing these words. I was on a mission to hone in on what made me ME and of course, writing out a list was be part of the process.
The pages are dated from 2016! Ten years ago! It's insane to rediscover that all these pictures and words still ignite something within me.
After years of neglecting myself, it's comforting to know that I still like the same things and can work slowly into incorporating them back into my life while I navigate caregiving.
I know it will be difficult to maintain but at least I've found this space to stay accountable.
